I just moved into a very small apartment and need some table space that will double as a desk for working from home.
I found this counter for sale: https://imgur.com/a/NPa05P0
I'd like to put it against a wall in my apartment that has a concrete pillar after ~80" (the length of the counter is 97").
I'd like to cut around the pillar for a snug fit. (last picture in the album for an idea of what it will look like)
Any ideas on how to accomplish this? I have 0 tools but will buy what is needed (within reason). Any concerns for the structural stability of the table?
Any advice is much appreciated :)
