Post Body

I am designing a deck that has 6 posts in total (2 rows of 3 posts) and i am wondering what's best to brace them together to reduce any possible lateral movement. Should I do option (a) brace leg posts to above beam or (b) brace legs to eachother.

The legs are 6x6 and about 3' 6" in height only. The rest of the structure is made of 2x10 or 2x8s.
