Why aren’t more people mentioning how Uniques aren’t enchantable?

Wasn’t that an issue in BL3 with anoints?
Legendaries don’t have this issue. So why the uniques?
I would like to use the uniques but not being able to use the enchants on them seems arbitrary and needless.
