Please delete if this isn’t allowed but I’m really needing an opinion on what’s happening.. Everything started in 2019, From June thru July my period was Spotting lightly each day. I would only see blood when wiping, I took it as just being from stress but towards August I started to get really sick and weak. I finally went on to the Doctor about this and was told My white blood cell count is very low and that I’m suffering blood loss/Anemia. So my doctor told me to start taking Iron pills along with Vitamin C. Well that helped stop the bleeding after five or so days. I was fine for quite some time after that and had normal periods all of 2020. Now in 2021.. April I started to bleed like I did last time, I didn’t take it serious and just kept taking the iron and vitamin C together but it didn’t stop it this time so I finally had went on to the doctor in Late June. This time he told me I need to see a gynecologist about these issues and that he won’t be able to help me after this. He gave me Provera and told me to take it for a few days and it should stop. They ended up helping me and stopping. The month after taking those(July) My period was insanely heavy, passing huge clots and it seemed like a normal period kind of to me. Into august though, I didn’t get a period at all on time until August 25 I started to spot(brown to light pink) Since then I have been bleeding.. He told me to take five days of provera and it didn’t help this time, vitamin c and iron hasn’t helped either.. There is no cramping, just bleeding but this time fairly a bit heavy. Please don’t judge.. The reasons for the far apart waits have been due to me saving up what I can after bills to finally be able to go to my doctors visits. I’m trying but I can but I want to know did anyone ever have Anything similar like this happen to them ? How did you control ther Menorrhagia and any tips on should I get a Pap smear done or try birth control? My doctor mentioned those two things, I was told with Pap smears they check for fibroids aswell. This would be the first ever Pap smear I’ve had done and I have never went to a gynecologist.
