Abnormal cervical cells, HPV, colposcopy
Post Body
In 2018, my Pap smear showed abnormal cells related to HPV. I was given a colposcopy with biopsy, which determined I did not have cervical cancer. I had a new pap last week that also came back abnormal, and will require another colposcopy. Does this mean my HPV infection from 2018 never cleared, or that I’ve contracted a new strain of HPV?
