So yesterday was horrible, I got home and I was crying from the pain. Today I thought it was better but then I got up and moved and the pain was so intense. Now when I lay still the cramping pain is there but kinda dull and manageable? If I start to move horrible sharp stabbing pain envelopes my whole abdomen. Is this normal? People just say you can experience severe pain but doesn’t really say what else to do about it other then over the counter meds (which I’m taking).
Also don’t know if this is relevant but the nurse had a real hard time placing the IUD, it took several attempts and at one point they thought they’d have to go down to a 5yr iud (I got the 10yr) bc it’s smaller and they thought it would be a better fit. They did manage to place the 10yr though in the end.
What are other people’s experiences? Am I overreacting or should I call my gp or 111 (I’m in England)
