T3 V-170 DD hid that it spotted my T3 Agincourt BB?

Was in open sea, it was capping our base, nothing possibly could have obstructed its view, my entire spottable range was within the base, and the game didn't say I was spotted. A very very rare glitch, or something I don't know about? Thanks.
