Seeing the Yorktown thread give me an idea: Theater/Battle Specific games.

For example: The ‘Midway’ match would be 4 carriers per team; with maybe some cruisers; limited to IJN/USN ships in open ocean. The ‘Sink the Bismarck’ would be the RN vs the Kreigsmarine- with one of the German bb’s being designated as the ‘target’. The ‘Battle of Jutland’ would be all fast bb’s and cruisers in a full out, open ocean pit brawl- all RN and KM ships. ‘Battle of Gualdacanal’ would be all cruisers at night and lots of islands- you get the picture.

There’s a ton of historical battles that could make fun scenarios (Battle of Tsushima Straights as the Russians and the Japanese pound each other to scrap? Hell yes!!!)- so maybe WG could think about this. I’d play the hell out of it.
