Many people have expressed concern over both The Foundation and the Wheel of Time TV series being true to the books. Some of these have political motivations that we probably shouldn’t dwell on, but many are about possible changes to the storylines.
I’m curious whether people familiar with both will have similar criticisms once the shows are released, or whether they’ll be able to judge The Foundation and later the WoT based primarily on their value as video entertainment. Likewise, will people less familiar with one or the other find their impressions based strictly on the quality of the production or be influenced by advanced publicity pointing out possible flaws.
(I’ve checked with the mods before posting this. I hope I don’t need to remind people to maintain the connection to the WoT, not spoil either show, and maintain the rules of the sub.)
