So I'm a veteran to rogue likes and wanted to beat the game without any help.

I started off really struggling for health and so I wanted to use vampire glasses with crit cloak to get health back. Then I was using aqua ark as my basics, but when I found dark katana it didn't work on it.

Then I saw it only worked on melee arcana so I swapped to spark contact in hopes of finding it again. This point it just became a crit cheese run, since I found crimson flower to get my crit to 100% and beat the game for the first time.

It wasn't until I beat the final boss before I realized you don't heal from critting bosses (no wonder my health was never full)

Anyways, I'm looking to start my next runs, but all the secondary spells seem to suck non enhanced...best I can find is like 70 damage at best, so I'm rolling with dragon arc/enhanced tracer barrage for a lack of better classic casting spells. Any recommendations?
