Most games have your avatar face the direction of your pointer as you aim and fire projectiles, instead in WoL your avatar follows the last cardinal movement direction until you fire. This leads to a slight lag as you have to correct the idea in your mind that 1) the dash is going to follow the cardinal direction your avatar is facing or arrow key input not your pointer and 2) the ability will follow your pointer not the direction your avatar is facing. It's inconsistent and a quick change that will go a long way, at least have it as an option in settings. I know you'll get used to it but I still suggest having dash, abilities, and the direction the avatar is facing directed by the cursor.
