First-time Witcher player here. I am currently doing the 'Fool's Gold' Mission and I am not able to get past a certain point.

I am at the part where I have to gather all the pigs near the windmill but I am not able to do so for some reason.

I spent like 20 minutes trying to get the pigs to move before I opened a walkthrough and I've found that there will be a prompt that says to use Axii on the pigs to get them to move. But I'm not getting that prompt. Instead, I have something that says 'Go inside the hog hut'. Apparently that is supposed to be the first part of the mission but my character did not trigger any checkpoint when I first entered the hut and talked to the pig. I remember this because I only triggered the find the hog hut prompt when leaving the hog hut.

I have tried going in and out of the hog hut multiple times but I am not able to trigger the checkpoint. I am also not able to use old save files since I had finished the haunted manor quest before returning to the guy in the village and thus I don't have any save files from before starting the mission. I tried checking the internet for an answer but I wasn't able to find anybody who has had this bug. Can anybody help?
