NG+ Tips After 5 years

Man i can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I last played… I’m going for a platinum run which requires Death March Difficulty. Are there any tips or advice on recommended skills, potions, items, spells, weapons, armour? I always used my Silver sword against human enemies since it does more damage and I’d exclusively use Quen since it protected against insta kills.
