r/WisconsinGoneWild requires and enforces the requirement of verification for all posters (commenters do not need to be verified) and makes verification status visible to subscribers via verification user flairs.

We require verification because verifying gives us all a little peace of mind. The mods and users know you've consented and the people seeking a genuine experience know that you're not an internet porn star and rather are a little "closer to home”—and isn’t that the whole point of a subreddit with a name like r/WisconsinGoneWild? We know there’s another subreddit with a similar name (which has a some great qualities!), but knowing the majority of posts aren’t genuine/are fake on most non-verifying amateur subreddits kind really tends to drain quality of the experience—plus, we want all the attention to go to our actual frisky Wisconsinites, not get siphoned off by fake stuff/spam/scammers/bots/liars! We know that probably means there might not be a lot of activity here until the subreddit grows more, but we think it’s worth the potentially slow start to create a more real, original and friendly community over the long run.
