New to wirewrapping, can someone help with a design?

Here is what I've got so far. I'm trying to make the image on the left. I've broken it down into 2 wires. The middle image shows the shape of the first wire then in the last image shows the second wire added in red.
Is this a good way of doing this? Is there a better/prettier way? These are for earrings so I'm planning on having a ball and spring earring hook attached to the small loop at the top.
