Where's the best place to look for free/very cheap household items?

We're moving into a place that's roughly twice the size of our current home and I'm hoping to find a vanity, dresser, computer/office chair, bedside tables, home decor stuff, a proper snow shovel, a headboard, and a few other things for relatively cheap or free. I have no problem going hunting in thrift stores/flea markets/internet pages/dumpsters for the good stuff ;) Any suggestions?
