Hey Winnipeg! I know you get 'moving to WPG' posts all the time, but I have a few questions regarding living in the city that are kind of specific to the current times we're living in. Thank you so much in advance.

My partner received a job offer out there and while the salary he'd be making is pretty good, enough to cover most of our expenses, I'm a little concerned about finding work out there considering the fact that we're in a recession. Are there places in WPG that I could easily find a job at, even just part time? I'm not picky but my background is in administration, customer service and freelance writing. I could also do retail or food service. Part time or work from home would be ideal, since our kids are coming with us and I would like to be there for them so that our transition is nice and smooth.

I was also wondering what sort of family lifestyle I can anticipate, what sort of fun things there are to do there. Our kids will like the zoo and museums, but what else is there? Any awesome hills to toboggan down, or cool places to observe wildlife? Arcades, pools, etc? What sort of activities does your family like to take part in?

Thank you again so much!
