Interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons or learning how to play tabletop roleplaying games in general? Get started with an active and experienced Dungeon/Game Master and let the adventure begin!
My name is Cliff, and I have a LOT of experience running and teaching games. I don’t want to age myself, but… Having run RPGs since I was 13 years old gives me gulp over 35 years of experience. I have taught friends, acquaintances, and strangers to play and helped teach my own kids and their kids! For the 15 years prior to Covid I had run a variety of RPGs for stores throughout Winnipeg on a weekly basis. I have even been fortunate enough to represent a variety of game companies in-store and at big conventions.
Lately I’ve seen a slew of posts on Facebook and other sites saying people are looking to play or learn how to play RPGs. Seeing the demand, and loving my hobby so much, I have decided to start a weekly game session. Sessions will be limited to players ages 18 years and up, 12 if accompanied by an adult who is also playing. I have both dice and minis for players to use until they choose to get their own, and we would be using the newest edition of the Dungeons & Dragons Players Handbook released earlier this month.
We will start in early October with a session zero, followed by weekly game sessions from there. Our first adventure will run through to the end of November. The game will take place Thursday Evening, running from 7 - 930
The cost of a session is $10 per player, which is no different then what you would pay playing at a game store. For this game I am intending to cap it between 4 - 6 players. Sessions will be hosted in my home and I do have two cats and two small dogs, the latter not being permitted in the gaming area.
