I am needing some guidance on what is the best practice to upgrade our primary domain controller. We have a older 08 r2 data center box that is aging and want to upgrade to a 2016 r2 data center we want to make our primary. I have been researching and found most people are telling me to rebuild the active directory. We have about 180 employees and this can bring out company to halt.
The 08 server runs iis, our main website and our exchange server.
What advise can i get to make this a seamless transition. We will also be moving our exchange 2010 server to a new box we build running 2016 as well with exchange 2013.
