Is Superseed USB the same as USB 3.0?

I'm buying a new pc and it comes with
- 2x SuperSpeed USB Type-A
- 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
I'm also buying an Elgato HD60S for streaming my ps4 through my PC.
I noticed that Elgato HD60S needs USB 3.0 on the PC to function and I was wondering if the SuperSpeed USB Type-A is the same as USB 3.0.
I looked it up and it says it was, but just want to conform that answer.
