Any fix for high disk usage when using mixed reality?

I have seen these two posts about the same issue I am having:

basically until I close the mixed reality portal my pc will say the disk is nearly maxed out.
like the other 2 posts the culprit seems to be windows driver foundation. has anyone else had this issue and found a fix for it?
