Apologies for the 50,000th post on this subject but I feel like I've tried everything and I don't want to have missed anything obvious.
I recently upgraded to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, and added 16 GB of RAM to my setup. This evening I noticed a crackling noise while listening to Spotify with a game open. Oddly enough, the crackles seem to coincide with my actions; when I mouse over channels in Discord or type something or alt-tab, it flares up. The problem isn't only present when a game is open, but it does seem to get worse.
I've tried all the obvious steps; re-installed Realtek drivers god knows how many times, I updated my chipset drivers, I updated the integrated graphics drivers even though that wouldn't do anything anyways, I've disabled exclusive control and audio enhancements, tried various power plans (balanced and high performance), and probably some more things that I'm forgetting. And I have tested the headphones on another device, they are not the issue.
I'm about ready to tear my hair out over this, so any help is appreciated.
