Cant install Win 11 24H2 feature update on newish laptop

Post Body

So I have an HP Victus laptop that is sorta new (had it almost a month now). Everything was updated smoothly and fine until this week when I got the notification from Windows to download a new feature update. So I decided to give it a try but upon reaching around 80% of the installation it said there was a failure in the process and “could not install this update.”

I was confused so I tried it again and now it keeps defaulting to 0% downloaded and doesn’t move at all. It’s like frozen and doesn’t want to move past 0. I noticed when I restarted my PC however, it started redoing the update then it finished to 100% eventually and even finished the install and I restarted my PC to finish the update and for some reason it was stuck at 0% on my Windows restart screens, but it finished for some reason and went straight to desktop after.

I went to check the Windows version to confirm it worked but it did not?? It is still stuck on 23H2.

I have these programs currently on my PC: McAfee AV (came pre installed with laptop), Vanguard (Riot Games kernel anti cheat), Windows Defender, Discord, Riot Games Launcher, Steam, and some audio stuff.
