Is Linux responsible for my Windows 11 product key showing as invalid?

Post Body
I recently tried to reinstall Windows 11 on my laptop, using the product key that’s printed on the back. In the past, it worked every time I reinstalled Windows. But this time, I’m getting an error saying the key is invalid.
A while back, I installed Linux on my laptop, which deleted my original Windows installation. There was no version of Windows left when I switched to Linux. I’m wondering if this Linux installation might be causing the problem with my Windows key now.
