Hey guys. I’ve come across a weird issue hoping that someone could shed some light on. I’m running win CE on an old PC104. The hard drive is a pcmcia card. Prior to running win CE, the pc had been running win 3.1. My install runs by first performing scandisk, then installing win CE, then booting into windows and autostarting an executable. The install runs from an external pcmcia card.

The problem I’m having is that all of a sudden, after this load process has been working for years it now has an issue. From a win 3.1 install going to win CE….Scandisk runs, win CE installs but the executable will not autostart. It says the file can’t be found, yet it is there and runs if selected manually. If Scandisk is run manually from dos, somehow the problem goes away. Rune the install again and the problem comes back.

I can provide more detail as I assume it’s needed, any ideas?
