1st, Windows 11 optimizer program can be found on github. Highly recommend. Must have.
Why on earth did microsoft stray away from the aero design that was in windows 7? And is there anyway of getting it back? Also is windows 7 a option with some work arounds to get dx11/12 working? Anything out there? Store, notifications ect everything 10/11 offers is irrelevant to me. I am hardest of hardcore win7 supporters and still to this day once its updated completely and has edge / chromium browser and is completely tuned to my uses, its still so much better. The only thing i went for 11 for was the facebook / messenger applications from the store. Otherwise i hate it. I want aero back it was so much snappier responsive elegant clean. Also the minimize maximize and close buttons on 10/11 are fugly asF. Giant and unnessesary. Is there a conversion package at all anywhere that brings ui elements to be much like 7? Without sacrificing start menu and 11 layout?
Also if your a gamer or media enthusiast, i recomment if on HDD to partition a seperate drive for games and media and format to exFat. And remove it from prefetch/indexing. Keeps system smooth. And disable memory integrity in defender and tamper protection. No noticible risk in the real world and makes things a lot snappier.
Optimizer app i memtioned also lets you disable telemetry for edge, windows, nvidia, chrome ect.
Powertoys is another great tool found in the store. And wintoys.
Also added a rather humurous game privacy/terms opening message i came across recently.
