Not here to gloat or get anyone upset. Just genuinely curious as to what’s going on.

I’ve noticed lots of posts about ads in Windows 11, Edge, and Office(paid). I’ve two laptops running Windows 11 with Edge and Office. I’ve never seen ads on any of these. Of course, in Edge, I turn everything off to have a minimal screen, but I haven’t done anything to the other two. Are the ads related to Windows 11 widgets? I have them disabled. I’m not complaining of course; I’m just wondering why so many people have these ads.
