Big problems after upgrading to 10

Post Body

  • I use my TV as a monitor. Resolution was way off since before I upgraded to 10, but circumvented it by scaling the text extra large. Now since upgrading, everything is too big. Text is blurry, icons too big, task bar goes below where I can see. I went to display settings where I know for sure it's the correct resolution and scaling (now at default 100% and still too big). Not sure what to do from here. I looked it up and the solution seems to involve messing with GeForce Experience settings.... I havent been able to open that program for a long time. It wont start. I dont know how to make it start.

  • There's now no sound.

  • Question: Can I safely remove files off internal hard drive if theyre backed up on my external HDD? What I DONT want (and I'm being as cautious as I possibly can here because I cant afford to lose certain files) is to back up in the future, have the External HDD detect that files saved on it are no longer present on the internal hard drive, and for the files to be removed from the external when next backed up (de-synced?). I backed up for the first time ever when upgrading to 10 (bad I know, should've been doing it more) so I really dont know what I'm doing here. Totally lost. But I need to free up space on my internal hard drive, waaaaay too slow.
