I have been troubleshooting this issue all day and can't get any resolution. It is really driving me up the wall now and I'm about ready snap...
My roku smart tv, android phone, and playstation are not detecting my Windows 10 media server I've set up. It's been setup for 3 years without incident but suddenly it's gone. I've turned media streaming off and on again on my local network, I've reinstalled network drivers, I've rebuilt the search index (read that's could help), I've restarted a number of times.
Nothing is making the network visible to any of my roku devices, the only thing that can "see" the network seems to be the PC itself regardless that it's been told to allow all devices...
Anyone have any suggestions? I Have gone to every link on the first page of Google from searching "roku media player says there is no media server", "pc media streaming not showing up on devices", "pc files not being seen by roku", and "media network connection not appearing on devices". Multiple times now I've gone in circles back to previous pages and tried the suggestions again and still there are no results. Yet there, from everything I've read, the server should be working...
