Post Body

I made a post earlier that I did a system restore on the computer that went for a long time. Right here

After a long time, it finally ended. I thought everything was fine up until I tested out the audio. For some reason, my speakers and headphones aren't showing any audio. Both of them worked since I tested them on my laptop. Im playing a youtube video and sound isn't coming out from both of them, (I'm looking the sound playback).

I'm trying to fix both:

Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) Headphones (High Definition Audio Device)

I felt like I tried everything. Here's a list of methods I Have tried:

  1. When I troubleshoot it, it says *audio services not responding". And "its not fixed".

  2. I unistalled/disabled the following audio drivers in device manager. I did the same for the "Sound, video and game controllers" section.

  3. I opened Services and I restarted both Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder and changed the Startup type to "Automatic".

4 Changed and switched both to default Device device.

  1. Of course volume is all the way up and both devices are plugged in.

  2. Went on registry editor and went to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AudioEndpointBuilder\Parameters. ServiceDII value is %SystemRoot%\System32\AudioEndpointBuilder.dll which is appertently supposed to be that way.

There is another issue I'm having where I can't update Windows. There was 4 updates trying to download but were stuck on 0%. I went to Services again and I stopped and restarted Windows Update. It stopped but now everytime I try to update it by pressing retry. It would load for a long time and then It keeps saying "Error encountered, we could not complete the install because an update service was shutting down. I tried troubleshooting and when it said it resolved it but Im still having the same issue.

It seems like the restore gave me more problems than fixing it. It worked and I got my brothers log back but again I'm having these issues.

Could the updates be part of the audio issues? Is there a way on how to fix these issues?
