Problems upgrading to W10

Alright.
So I click the "get windows 10" in my task bar, then I click "upgrade now".
I allow the upgrade through the UAC, then in the windows 10 box, it says "starting download. once download is complete, you can start the upgrade, or schedule it for later." And the little circle loading thing just stays in animation.
I left this dialogue box open the whole day and it was still "starting download". Any tips?
