Which biology professors are the most likely to take on freshmen for research in their labs?
Post Body

I'm an incoming freshman who's interested in doing research with professors at Williams. I've been told that it's possible to work as a research assistant in a lab even in my first year, and I can indicate my interest by emailing professors. I've already looked over all the biology professors and their research on the Williams website, but I'm wondering -- which ones will be most likely to take on freshmen? I have research experience from high school: I've worked with with fruit flies, CRISPR, genetics, Western blots, DNA gel electrophoresis, etc. It would be really helpful if someone could point me in the right direction as to which professors to email about research, or whether or not I should do it at all.

(Edit: I'm a potential pre-med who's most interested in neuroscience and maybe genetics, but honestly I'm open to anything.)
