I work at a house that has a small peach tree in the backyard with a mourning Dove nesting in it. I believe the eggs have been laid but haven't hatched. The residents are not yet aware of the nest and my house manager had expressed that she will do nothing to prevent them from harassing the tree or it's occupants when they become aware of the nest.
I'm certain that they will become aware of the nest before the babies are able to leave. Is there anything I can do to protect the family without disturbing it? The nest is about 3-4 feet off the ground.
