Looking for a remote trip late fall - waiting for my home to sell and hoping to get in a late fall hike. Will be able to fly anywhere and hoping to get into some mountains before they’re jam packed with snow again - don’t want to camp on deep snow but well equipped for cold weather. 3-4 days would be ideal.
Anybody have any recommendations? At this point probably looking at very late fall to early winter - prefer to avoid the desert parks/locations if possible (will be doing a bit of that over the new year.). Just need some solitude somewhere beautiful.
