Do you bring your boots and bag inside your tent at night?
Post Body

I usually leave mine outside the tent but inside my rain fly or vestibule.

However last time I was out, there was a gigantic fucking spider chilling in-between my tent and my backpack when I woke up.

I've been thinking about all the critters that could crawl into my bag and shoes at night and it has my skin crawling.

But I sure as shit don't want to bring my grimy gear inside my tent, the only mildly clean space on the trip.

What do you guys do?

Edit: new fears to consider - my backpack smelling of food, and animals running away with or chewing through my gear.
