Backpacking Suggestions for Late Spring
Post Body

Hi all, I am trying to plan a 4-5 night backpacking trip for late May, and would love some trail suggestions near (but not necessarily in) the midwest. I’ve gone on one backpacking trip prior and my friends are all first time backpackers, so it would ideally be somewhere beginner friendly. Since the trip would be in May, I am leaning away from anywhere mountainous due to the possibility of snow and lower temperatures that may be too hard for a first timer. I have Isle Royale, Sleeping giant and the Porkies as possibilities, but wanted to make sure I’m not missing any hidden gems.
