Coming summer i am going to be spending some time in the White mountains with 2 friends. We all have camping experience, however this has mostly been in Europe. We also all have quite some hiking experience already. I am currently looking at doing the standard Pemi loop. Is it realistic to do with 2 nights of camping? What is your experience on how long it takes? Hiking for 6-7 hours a day shouldnt be a problem for us. Are there any other suggestions for different more unknown hiking routes that would take around 3 days? Open to all suggestions. Also, besides the bears looking for food, are there any other things related to camping in bear territory that i should be aware about?
