Need some help deciding between Feathered Friends Murre EX 0° and Western mountaineering Kodiak MF 0°. Both bags are just over 2 lb for the size I need. Such an investment does not come easy and I have to try to get most bang for my buck. I sleep cold and have a lot pain so adding more weight isn’t really an option. Trying to keep my pack base weight to a minimum 10 to 11 lb. I have a feathered friends 30° and I think they make quality products but I’ve heard great things about Western mountaineering as well. Any feedback on either or both would be greatly appreciated. TIA. UPDATE: thanks for the helpful feedback! I went with the WM Kodiak. Even though I’m short/small, I’m an active sleeper with chronic hip pain and sleep with a stuff sack with all my clothing in it between my knees so the extra space makes sense for me whereas the FF Mure is narrower. I’m in the bay area California and purchased through Sunrise Mountain Gear in Livermore recommended to me from WM customer service which seems to be pretty responsive so far.
