Priiloader? (Late to the game, slightly lost)
Post Body

What I'm wanting to do is be able to use Nintendont with a USB harddrive (If I need to photo that I own the GC games I can do that. Not trying to ask about piracy stuff.), and play out of region normal Wii disks. I get that there's a guide above for nintendont and that's what I'm looking at as well as some other guides online. But I got a little stuck/lost in the process of figuring out what to do.

I wound up getting a Wii pretty late in the game and it's running 4.3U and always has. My friend hacked it for me, and I'm not quite sure the method he used to do it but I know I have

  • Homebrew channel v1.1.0

  • Bootmii v1.4.0

  • USBLoader GX

  • d2X CIOS Installer

  • some other apps that shouldn't be relevant

I realized that when it originally got modded, a NAND backup wasn't taken. So I went ahead and did that.

Questions now are:

  1. given that some of the CIOS files have already been replaced, am I still SOL if i need to use my NAND backup ?

  2. I assume since my Wii was definitely late model, I am on boot2 for Bootmii? I'm not sure how to confirm this one.

  3. How can I tell if ModMii was used? So i know which way to update my mods as per the guide.

  4. The region unlock seems to be with Priiloader, but everything I read says dont do it with modified systems, which mine is definately modified with the USB loader whatever was core to hack it. Is there any way to do a region unlock now or is that just not possible?

Thanks in advance.
