I did the impossible. Lightened the lace on a frontal.
Post Body

Take this with a grain of salt as this is my first try on it, but I used 2 paint markers and acrylic spray to lighten the lace of my HH lace frontal.

I bought a frontal at the store, the lace was light, but had a weird yellow tinge (almost like cigarette smoke) so it wasn't ever going to match my skin. I had some ideas, purple makeup, purple dip dye the lace (water-bath color has dyed my lace before) but the one I tried that worked was... Paint markers.

I used a white paint parker to color the lace white. I did the top and bottom of the lace, I went in between the hair with the marker a little and then wiped any of the paint off that got on the hair. I did three layers. Then I got a peach colored pen at Michaels that is almost an exact match for my skin, and did a layer of that.

I sprayed it with acrylic setting spray (a very light layer) then a few layers of G2B freeze spray (so paint and acrylic aren't touching my head.

I will say that I don't know what effect this will have long term. It did cover the knots. I don't know if it is technically safe to have this near your skin either, and I don't know if it will hold up over time. But my shit LOOKS good for now.
