Hey, I'm quite involved into the old ways mainly because my family practices it for generations. So as the only person that still practices it in the family (the last person before me was my grandpa) I need help balancing the ritual.

It a cleansing ritual when your soul bound people are hurting. In principle the idea is to use yourself as a medium to expell the negative out of the person that is bound to you and burn it away.

The ritual is done according to the writing in our book and is fairly simple. You make a simbol for Triglav (I am panslavic) triquetra and into each corner you place a combination of herbs and spices so that 🌑/rest, light/activity and chaos/change are represented. In the middle is a candle mixture of beeswax and my blood. You place the ritual beside you and seek help of the spirits present, so that they can help you direct the negativity from my soul bound -> into me->into the flame in the candle. The problem is it works too well it literally feels as if the Arctic wind is blowing through me.

So now, my idea is to set a barrier around the ritual to limit its power. I would like put a stone circle around it to bind the power and ground it. My idea is to place obsidian stones pointing towards the ritual in each of the cardinal directions, but crystals are not my area of expertise 😕. What do you think would that work? Is anything better suitable for the ritual? 🤔
