Can you add dry lentils straight to tomato sauce? Or have to precook?
Post Body

Usually I use canned lentils but just bought dried.

The packet says they should be boiled for 12 minutes.

If Im adding them to a bolognese sauce, can they just go straight into the tomatoes or do they need to be precooked then added?
