How to prepare jackfruit?

I tried a couple of different recipes that I found online but never managed to make it taste good. Both the texture and the flavour always seem to remain very bland even though I take time to drain all that liquid and everything. I would like to try to use it more as it’s not too expensive where I’m living, and it really can be used in a lot of different ways
