My biggest one is that the End Times scenarios for all the gamelines resulted in a branching timeline.

In one, they were averted as per 20th Anniversary/5ed.

In the other, the Antediluvians, Wyrmish forces, and Nephandi succeeded in brnging about the end of the world. The old World of Darkness became a 12th Qlippoth, and the few mages who Ascended before it happened became the new gods of the Chronicles of Darkness reality.

The two run parallel to one another, with the Null Zone being the "space" between them.

Another one I have is that the beast of Masquerade vampires is actually their avatar, twisted from its original purpose by the curse. Instead of seeking Ascension, it desires only more blood. The embrace is a bit like going through a caul in that regard.
