It’s a dog whistle to coal miners, oil people, and generally anyone who works in the fossil fuel industry. Generally, all green energy = bad in their world, plus in their minds, this means it is stealing jobs from honest, good hard working white Christian Americans.
Also, a lot of the windmills were installed against the obvious protest of the fossil fuel industry during the Obama administration, so it doubled as a racist dog-whistle, and their visibility all over flyover country (which is generally flat) served as a constant reminder of the fight against black socialist antifa-led eco-warriors who love nothing more than to suck the cock of terrorists and eat babies and sec traffic children all while engineering tye woke agenda to destroy god, the constitution, and the United States of America, as was foretold in the prophecies of Q.
Windmills are the right-nutjob gift that keeps on giving.
