hey yall. i work at sally beauty supply, and the other day i heard a christmas song on the radio and it was so good. i tried to shazam it multiples time but nothing came up. ever since ive been searching for it. i don’t remember much about it besides it was very melodic. it sounded like REM, but i know it’s not REM because i checked. it gave me like … late 80s, early 90s vibes. all i remember is the end repeated the same few words a few time and there was a vocal underlay behind it saying something about “christmas day” or something to that nature. it was something like “wake up it’s christmas day” or “soon itll be christmas day”. it was very melancholic and it was probably anywhere between 2 minutes and 30 seconds to 3 minutes long. it was a man singing with a gentle voice. putting my place of work in to see if any fellow sally employees have heard/ know the song. if any of you have the slightest idea of what it might be, please send it my way. my friends and i are on a manhunt for this track.
