Particles found on bedsheets every morning. They are hard and does not look organic.

Black cylinderical shaped particles found in bed in the morning. They were not there before bedtime.
The pest controller did not recognise it as anything he was familiar with. No pets.
The closest thing it resembles is mechanical pencil lead broken particles.
Both very clean individuals and shower before bed.
Help anyone?
