Season 3 Episode 8

Was this a good season? NO Was this a good finale ?? …i dont know…

Honestly, the finale was the best episode of the whole season. However, it still has some glaring issues. I’ll put some below but im sure there are others

-long ass fight scene (that was AMAZINGLY animated and did have some cool stuff but was 12 minutes of a 28 minutes run time(minus credits)) -lack of info about the following: STORM, cliffhanger in agatha episode (which really felt like a set up to something), and just the general idea of what a (or “the”) watchers purpose was - like why would you need someone to JUST watch?? -predictably- it was obvious when there was no intro the watcher would re-iterate the intro at the end. -they can all just become watchers??? Like that??? This leads to so many questions - the first of which is what are the consequences of them being basically “done” with their home universes and whatever they were supposed to do there (AKA - byrdie was supposedly the “chosen one” of her universe - what happens there now that shes a watcher?? She was literally compared to Jesus so you think shed have some grand old event in her universe that seemingly wont happen now…) -peggy; ok at this point i guess she is a watcher, but HOW THE HELL was she able to stand against three experienced, leader watchers and MOVE THEM TO A DIFFERENT UNIVERSE AGAINST THEIR WILL?? I am not even a huge peggy hater like others but what the HELL ??? -lack of a future path: like what happens now? Can watchers (which are now uatu, kahhori, byrdie, and storm in the least) intervene as they see fit? Is this just a long setup to live action ?

Ok ok, dont call me a negative nelly! There was some cool stuff…

-the fight scene (although long) slayed boots down, i enjoyed it. -the eminence and crew’s appearances -ultron being merked to showcase the power the eminence had -the x-men theme (loved loved loved it) -the overall theme that nobody is no one, kinda sweet -although i am not a huge peggy fan, they did bring about emotions with her death and i thought i was well done -the supreme strange involvement (love him)

Final Thoughts: even though I am highly critical and did not enjoy this last season, i still think it is a mistake that it is ending. Honestly, i love kahhori and hope to see her in live action but know that that is a long shot. I just dont get why this show has thrown out such stupid storylines !!! There were so many cool things we missed out on and no matter the departure in quality I am sad it is over :( (for example, this storms origin - how was this not an episode but western shang chi was??)
