You know who loves scavenger hunts? This guy. You know who doesn't love scavenger hunts? /r/wetshaving. You know what we're going to do? A scavenger hunt.

Here's the twist, I'm not leaving this up to chance and/or problem solving. No parsing clues. No realizing there's even a scavenger hunt at all. Take pictures and post them. Super simple. There is a very specific list of things you have to find (see below).

So how does this work? Below is a list of things you need to find and take a picture of... and rules. Read the rules.

Rule #1: YOU MUST INCLUDE A PIECE OF PAPER WITH YOUR USERNAME IN EVERY PICTURE. If there is not a paper with a username the picture does not count

Rule #2: If you are participating, create a top level comment and add links to your pictures there. You can add/edit pictures as you take them. Respond to that comment and tag me when you believe you are complete

Rule #3: No cheating, except where I tell you to cheat

Rule #4: Whatever I say

THE LIST!

• Shaving Soap with 2 S's in the soap name (Full/Sample doesn't matter, but label has to be present)
• A tooth pick (the fancier the better)
• A pet (doesn't have to be yours)
• A key
• A banana for scale
• A sock that is missing its mate
• Shaving soap that is a color other than that normal tan/off white color
• A glass half full because we're positive
• A vacuum
• A razor with an upside down base plate because most of you ding dongs have done this at least once
• A post shave product in a plastic container (balm, aftershave, toner, listerine, whatever)
• Exactly one of the pictures needs to be you obviously cheating at the scavenger hunt. Be creative. This doesn't get you bonus points, but this is more for me, not for you
• Correctly installed toilet paper
• A soap you pledge to PIF. I know you all have at least one thing you don't use anymore, so set it aside and commit to sticking some other sucker with it.
• An egg (not East Egg or West Egg you snark masters, a chicken egg)
• A CD [Compact Disk] (/u/giganticsteps - this is how we listened to music before Spotify or Apple Music. You may have to go to the store for this one)
• A mythical creature

I have final say over whether something qualifies. If it's up for debate, assume you are trying to game the system and will be squashed.

So, how do you win? Finish the scavenger hunt. This will be open until Saturday morningish. Everyone that I deem to be at 100% will be entered into a drawing and I'll use the IRC bot to pick someone.

What's the prize? I debated not mentioning this and just letting you all assume there was a prize only to bamboozle you at the end. Alas, that would be cruel and I didn't want to awkwardly avoid the question causing people not to participate. So, whoever wins will get a $50 GC to Maggard's (or another place if Maggard's doesn't work for you for whatever reason). Basically, $50.I think that's everything.
