I've decided on the Hart Steel 6/8 round tip straight razor for my next hardware purchase as an upgrade from my current cheap straight. The biggest difference between the two (aside from quality and price) is that the Hart is a quarter hollow and the Gold Dollar I currently have is a full hollow. How much difference should I expect to notice in performance?

Also, I'm looking for recommendations for a paddle strop (don't have anywhere to hang a regular one) or maybe a box strop. Any feedback welcome.
